Julie Bailey has been creating websites for over 5 years in the Durham, North Carolina area.  Prior to that, Julie designed and tested software interfaces at companies such as IBM, Adobe and Interval Research in Silicon Valley.

 

Creating usable, functional and attractive interfaces, especially computer interfaces, has always been a part of her education and career.  She has also used these skills in her contributions as a volunteer.

 

Julie has an MA degree in experimental psychology from New Mexico State University and attended the University of California at Santa Cruz towards a doctorate in cognitive psychology (ABD).  Julie's graduate education focused on cognitive psychology (specializing in how people learn, understand, remember and organize information) and computer science, both of which give her the background to design and implement web pages.
